The Team

David Horita Director                                                      David has four passions in his life: his family, his dog Diesel, the church, and baseball. Most would say that the church generates more passion than does Diesel, but at times it is a tough call! He has been married for over thirty years to his wife Saint Jo-Anna, and has three adult sons. After completing his Master of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, he has served in both small and large churches, as well as planting a church in Surrey in 1990.  During those years he also received his Doctor of Ministry degree, and worked extensively on a variety of Fellowship Pacific Boards.  Throughout the last ten years, David has enjoyed working alongside others in the Fellowship Pacific Ministry Centre, applying much of his education and experience to developing church focused tools to help them achieve their unique vision within the Kingdom of God.

Krista Penner Team Leader Leadership Development Team Krista Penner leads the Leadership Development Team and in this role has the privilege of teaching board governance and leadership principles in Fellowship Pacific churches across BC. Krista has a degree in the Humanities, and brings over 20 years of corporate experience to her role with Fellowship Pacific. Her portfolio also includes the management of the Immerse Program.  While still working in the corporate sector, Krista’s call to vocational ministry first became evident when she began receiving invitations to speak at churches across Canada. Her role with Fellowship Pacific has expanded and changed but her passion for the mission and vision of the Fellowship has remained crystal clear. Krista and her husband Jerome are members of Maple Ridge Baptist Church and they live in Mission, BC.  Together, they share the joy and challenge of watching their three young adult children launch into life.  Krista enjoys cooking for everyone in her life and quite often you will find her in her kitchen, wearing her apron, creating something that calls for a pound of butter!
