Fellowship Pacific believes that regular church planting (and satelliting) is critical to our future. There are three primary perspectives that guide our thinking about this:
- We believe that great church plants come from great church planters. As such, we are very committed to working with quality people who have a passion to start healthy churches that will consistently see lost people making a life changing commitment to Jesus Christ.
- We believe that local churches should be the ones to plant churches. With this in mind, we only plant churches in partnership with and through other churches. Only in exceptional cases will we plant churches that are not supported in some way by existing churches.
- We believe in planting churches in partnership with others. Fellowship Pacific enjoys an intentional and mutually supportive partnership with the C2C Network, a national church planting network that exists to see gospel centred, spirit-led, mission focused churches planted. We assess, coach, train, and reproduce Fellowship Pacific churches as a part of Christ’s work right across the country. If you want to see more, check out this video:
